Chula Vista Resort, Wisconsin Dells, WI

Home of industry firsts in the waterpark capital of the world!

The Wisconsin Dells is where waterparks were first introduced and today there are more than six indoor waterpark destination resorts including Chula Vista Resort. This area is also known as the waterpark capital of the world which boasts the latest and greatest waterpark attractions from WhiteWater West Industries Ltd.

In 2006, WhiteWater introduced some of their innovative technology to the market at Chula Vista Resort. The thrill of acceleration and awe of weightlessness is just some of the excitement included on a ride of the ZipCoaster by WhiteWater. WhiteWater's gravity defying ZipStrip™ in-flume conveyor technology accelerates rafts uphill at speeds of up to 20mph.

Waterpark enthusiasts are also invited to explore the custom themed Mayan AquaPlay™ RainFortress. Over 80 features including hose and arching jets, pull ropes, water guns and tipping cones equals hours of fun for the whole family!

Another industry first at Chula Vista Resort is the Whizzard. This high-speed mat racer slide starts off in side-by-side enclosed AquaTube flumes. It then transitions in to a traditional multi-lane configuration. We anticipate that riders will want to challenge each other whilst trying to determine which of the lanes is longer or shorter and faster or slower, when in actual fact each lane is within three feet in length of each other. It's sure to be a hit for repeat visits and entertainment value. Other advantages are the Whizzard's tighter footprint than typical multi-lane mat racer. These slides can also be installed in a left or right-hand orientation to accommodate nearby buildings, walls, and often go outside the building to provide dramatic visual appear to attract customers to your facility.
