Located on Paradise Island, Bahamas this showcase Whitewater project is a sight to behold. Imagine leaping feet first into a shark-filled pool and emerging on the other side unscathed. It's all possible at the Atlantis Resort.

With a six-storey freefall jump-from the top of an ancient Mayan temple downward into a fog-shrouded, shark-infested lagoon-adventurers plunge back in time and into the midst of the fabled underwater city of Atlantis. The 'Leap of Faith', a nearly vertical FreeFall™ Whitewater slide with a drop of 60-feet, propels sliders at blazing speed through a clear acrylic tunnel submerged in a shark-filled lagoon. The corkscrew 'serpent' sends riders on inner-tubes winding through the black core of the temple before emerging into another acrylic tunnel at a leisurely shark-viewing pace, and finishes with a drop into a splash pool below.

The 'Challengers,' two parallel high-speed dual slides, which emanate from the back of the pyramid, offer timed races. This splashdown area is guarded by statues of lions, in keeping with the theme. Other kinder and gentler rides appeal to the younger set which connects cascading pools that contain ancient ruins and flowing fountains.

The latest addition at Atlantis Resort is an AquaPlay AP1050 structure with custom Mayan theming. AquaPlay multi-level play structures provide a world of aquatic adventure for the entire family. This AquaPlay AP1050 features over 50 play features including a large tipping bucket, slides, net climbs and lots of splashing water!
