“NRH2O and our guests are thrilled with the Viper! We selected the Viper based on a customer survey which indicated that our guests wanted a ride that allowed them to share the experience with their family and friends. Not only is it a family-sized experience, its high capacity shortens wait times, which also makes our guests very happy. Another unique feature is that when the waterpark is open in the evenings, the Viper is not to be missed, with its exciting lighting and sound effects”. Chris Swartz |

Dear Jim, It is now some ten months since Diana and I attended IAAPA, the amusement park expo at Orlando USA for the purpose of researching the various water park options available. With this in mind we would be remiss not to write advising of our appreciation regarding the excellent information and wonderful service your company has provided from when we first met right through to completion of the Aqua Play structure last month. Apart from an excellent product and meeting all time line promises the other true test of any great organisation is demonstrated in their willingness to provide exceptional after sales service. The justification in choosing White Water has exceeded our highest expectations in every way even to the extent of you arranging to have a staff member come from Canada with the skills to resolve a small inconsistency in the sound of the water piano. Our rationalisation for the installation of the water park has already been demonstrated, not only by the 100% occupancy achieved during the September school holidays but also with the exceptional forward bookings resulting from the wonderful experience of those recently here and seeking to return. Jim, our staff consider it an absolute privilege to have worked with you, we wish both White Water and yourself every success in the future. Whitewater Wave Systems Ltd. Dear Andrew, I would like to take this opportunity to express my admiration and appreciation for the performance of WhiteWater Wave Systems Ltd. and Barr & Wray Ltd. in conceiving, designing, fabricating and installing the combination surf and bobbing wave machines at Typhoon Lagoon. As you are aware, Typhoon Lagoon was in jeopardy of not having a wave machine after the demise of Wavetek. Walt Disney Imagineerings was fortunate enough to have found you. Your efforts in response to an extraordinary technical and production challenge have provided the Typhoon Lagoon project with an incomparable wave machine, far superior to what presently exists in the industry and an incomparable wave! It is my sincere hope that the Walt Disney Co. will again engage your companies to "make waves" for us. Best of luck in all your future endeavors. Sincerely,William L. Senorita Kristin Turcotte Dear Kristin: I would like to give you some feedback on our experience working with WhiteWater during the installation and operation of the Spinning Rapids. It was because of the superb attendance figures we had with the WhiteWater Water Coaster, which we installed in 1996, and also because of WhiteWater's excellent service and support that we decided to purchase our new ride from you, the Spinning Rapids. Now with two months in operation of El Pacuare, the name that we gave the Spinning Rapids, we can comment, without hesitation that it was the right decision. The process through design, planning and installation of the attraction took place seamlessly and rapidly resulting in completing the installation in record time. The guest popularity and response to the ride has been extraordinary! We have achieved our goal of having a major ride which would appeal to families, teenagers and young adults together with a substantial boost in park attendance. I am delighted to say that we are very happy with the performance of both the Spinning Rapids Ride and with WhiteWater. Best Regards,Mario Catarinella, Eng. WHITEWATER West Industries Ltd. Spinning Rapids Ride Dear Joe: We are glad to confirm you that our Spinning Rapids Ride is a very safe ride and does not has caused any accidents and injuries since we started operating in 1999. As we have got the raisers at any point of the fiberglass section the German TUV approved the ride even for the youngest children. For HANSA-PARK as the only Theme Park in Germany which is located directly at the Sea and which is situated in one of the most traditional German holiday regions for families this is a very important advantage of this ride. Since installation of the Spinning Rapid Ride is the most popular family ride in our Park which has now got over 35 rides including four roller coasters and two flume rides. Thank you again for your very fair cooperation! Best regards, Andreas Leicht, CEO |

Tim, I would like to take this opportunity to thank yourself and your predecessors who have been involved in the establishment and the administration of the contract and in particular I would like to thank Rick Genovese for his effort onsite and we found his contribution very important and significant to the ultimate success of the Waterplay facility as part of the Park redevelopment. For your information, the official opening of the Park occurred on 'Australia Day', 26 January 2004, with the Chief Minister officiating - several government ministers were present and all politicians, patrons and children alike were thoroughly impressed with the Whitewater play equipment and in particular the 'tipping bucket'. I have included a couple of pictures as attachments to give you an idea of the completed facility. Should you require further electronic pictures - please advise. Four-Alarm Fun on Tap as Dollywood Splash Country Unveils Bear Mountain Fire Tower 05/04/2005 As Dollywood ’s Splash Country’s fifth season gets under way May 21, guests will experience the water adventure park’s newest attraction, the $2 million Bear Mountain Fire Tower™. The interactive, multi-level water-filled attraction is built around a central play structure and features various water-based activities including a 1,000-gallon bucket situated atop the highest level. After warning bells sound indicating that a fire has been spotted, the large bucket spills, setting off a chain reaction of subsequent, smaller buckets throughout the lower levels creating a four-alarm soaking for the entire family. Bear Mountain Fire Tower’s fire fighting theme is complete with hand cannons, hoses, buckets, escape chutes and ladders. “With the addition of Bear Mountain Fire Tower, we can offer our guests an attraction that truly appeals to every member of the family,” said Dollywood ’s Splash Country General Manager Gene Scherrer . “From toddlers to grandparents, it’s filled with hours of enjoyment and good times.” Part of a five-acre expansion project, the addition of Bear Mountain Fire Tower expands Dollywood ’s Splash Country to a total of 30 acres of Smoky Mountain-themed water rides and attractions. The area also introduces another restaurant to Dollywood ’s Splash Country with the addition of the Brushfire Grill featuring a variety of food selections. Also new this year are the Riverside Retreats, four units measuring approximately 14 by 21 feet that offer 200 square feet of shaded space and an additional 100-square-foot sun deck. Net drapes provide seclusion as guests enjoy a 27-inch satellite television (select programming), two ceiling fans, a dining table with six dining chairs and two lounge chairs. Each unit, two of which are handicap accessible, is equipped with a private phone for ordering water and soft drinks as well as entrees’. Daily rental fees apply for up to 12 people (linens, food, beverages and park admission are not included with rental fee). Opened in 2001, Dollywood ’s Splash Country is located adjacent to Dollywood family adventure park. Situated in a lush, wooded mountain setting, Dollywood ’s Splash Country features a 25,000-square-foot wave pool; a lazy river; two interactive children’s play areas and 23 water adventure slides. Lyle Percevault - Project Manager, City of Nanaimo, the Harbour City posted on February 22, 2010 |
To Whom It May Concern: RE: Whitewater West Industries Ltd. Whitewater West Industries Ltd. was first contracted by the City of Nanaimo to provide an indoor interactive water feature and a 30 foot high indoor entry/exiting outside tube slide at our Beban Pool expansion in 1998. It was such a hit with the users that the City of Nanaimo had no hesitation in ordering three similar slides from Whitewater for the new Nanaimo Aquatic Centre in 2001. Two of the slides are 30 foot high landings and one 45 foot high landing. One slide at the 30 foot landings is a darkened tube with a slightly steeper pitch. The $15,000,000 Nanaimo Aquatic Centre is a 68,071 total square foot building comprised of wet and dry areas. The wet area consists of a 52-metre pool with moveable floor and two moveable bulkheads, wave/leisure pool with a lazy river, water feature, slides and amenities which include hot tub, steam and sauna rooms. The dry side consists of a 4,000 square foot exercise room, pro-shop, physio, administrative office, and multi-purpose area and male/female/family and staff change rooms. Users of the Aquatic Centre come from far and wide and are amazed at the amenities in the leisure pool, many of which were supplied by Whitewater. There is always a line up for the slides and patrons are able to time themselves going down and often try to beat others fastest time. The City of Nanaimo has received “two thumbs up” for these awesome slides from the patrons. We found Whitewater’s work to be very satisfactory, their work force was very knowledgeable on all aspects of pool equipment installations and the company has done a great job on followup and warranty work. I have no hesitation in recommending Whitewater West Industries Ltd. to potential new clients. Please contact me at (250) 756-5343 if any additional information is required. Dear Mr. Yap, Following your e-mail what we can recommend is to use one company. I would choose definitely Whitewater. We have a Van Egdom device but unfortunately I can not recommend you to buy this type of attraction from Van Egdom. They might be good in other items but in aqua play type equipment they have absolutely no experience. Best regards, Giancarlo CasoliMirabilandia Hi Mr. Giancarlo Casoli, My name is WK Yap (Mr), General Manager of MEMIONTEC PTE LTD, a Singapore based company. We are a water and waste water specialist. We understand that you are the biggest water play theme company in Itally. We hope to seek your opinions and advise on what suppliers to choose and use, based on your valuable experience in this business. Currently we are doing a swimming pool project for Singapore Sport Councils and we are supplying Water play equipment and water slide as well. They have two possible suppliers for both systems (1)Whitewaterwest, 2)Van Egdom. Our customer will compare the Whitewater West Canada Aquaplay modul #1050, is a very big system, with Van Egdom. And for the slide, it will be about 15m high and 150m long. Both companies are reputable companies and their products seem good. However, they seem to share the system we want, ie AP1050, which suppliers is more recommended? Your opinion is definitely important to us. We would appreciate most if you could help us. "For us Prime Play was the only company offering the sort of next generation interactive play equipment that we were looking for. The play equipment itself has made the maximum use of the space available and the incredible attention to detail in the theming has caught the imagination of all those kids who have visited us. This customer wow factor has increased our overall Park numbers by a massive 24% and I have no hesitation in adding a further Prime Play phase for next season. This puts all other play equipment that we have seen in the Dark ages" |
