Collaborator Profile: FORREC

Here at WhiteWater, we get to work on amazing projects for water and theme parks all over the world. Sometimes, our in-house team of designers help with the creative direction, and other times we collaborate with the industry’s many talented designers. It’s these designers that we’d like to spotlight; our friends in the industry and their incredible designs we’ve been lucky enough to help bring to life.

Emily Colombo, who’s in charge of Business Development for Rides & Slides, works closely with designers in the industry, and with her help, we’re able to showcase some of their memorable work. Today, we’d like to shine the spotlight on our fellow Canadians, FORREC.

We have collaborated with them on incredible projects around the globe, including Shankus Waterpark in India, Laguna Waterpark in Dubai, many of the LEGOLAND projects, and the up-and-coming Six Flags parks in China.

One of the most recent projects that we’ve worked with them on is the aforementioned Laguna Waterpark, which features an array of our attractions, from slides to a FlowRider WaveOz™; considered by the park to be their marquee attraction.

Shanku’s Waterpark, which is currently in construction, is another great example where FORREC masterfully designed a phased plan, ensuring long term success for the ambitious owners in Gujarat, India.

To round out the list of projects both companies are excitedly anticipating are the highly-themed and instantly recognizable LEGOLAND and the up-and-coming Six Flags water parks in China, which will be Six Flags’ first venture into Asia.
