Happy Magic Water Cube Beijing

From the Olympics to Under The Sea

Originally created for the 2008 Summer Olympics, Beijing Water Cube Waterpark has become Beijing’s second most visited tourist spot, after the Great Wall.

Its 17,000-square-meter indoor section, Viking Harbor, and 12,000-square-meter rooftop outdoor area, Ice Fire Canyon, make it the only water park of its kind in China. We connected indoor and outdoor spaces with a 142-meter blue AquaTube, creating a fluid and immersive experience. Leveraging our expertise from conceptual design to schematic design and design development, our Design Services team carefully considered every aspect of the visitor journey to enhance the overall experience. Additionally, we supplied 20 water slides, two AquaPlay structures, 54 AquaSplash toys, and a 13-meter-wide wave pool, strategically placed throughout both indoor and outdoor areas, ensuring endless fun and thrills for guests.

Project Highlights

This is an exciting project due to its special location and team. We are working only with the world’s leading designers and suppliers to make this water park a world leader. The Happy Magic Water Cube will be an attraction that Beijing can be proud of.
