A project that has been making headlines since its announcement, Aquarabia Qiddiya City opened in 2026 to prove to the world that a water theme park of this scope and scale is possible—even in the deserts of Saudi Arabia. The park also impresses with breathtaking theming unlike anything the world has ever seen.

This destination introduces to the attractions industry a novel way of thinking about aquatic entertainment: a melding of traditional water park products with complementary rides and attractions not normally associated with this venue type.

Aquarabia Qiddiya City spans more than 250,000 square meters and is organized into eight themed zones inspired by regional wildlife and natural landscapes. Among the water theme park’s 22 standout attractions are four record-breaking water slides, two water-based amusement rides—a Shoot the Chute and a Spinning Rapids Ride—and an Endless Surf lagoon with customizable waves perfect for both beginner and professional surfers.

One of the park’s most buzzworthy rides is “Junoon Drop” in Camel Rock—the world’s tallest and longest Family Blaster at more than 42 meters high. The slide sends guests on exhilarating uphill climbs and down scream-inducing drops in custom seven-person rafts engineered by WhiteWater. Designed with higher walls, the rafts allow guests in street clothes to stay dry while still experiencing one of the park’s signature rides.
