At the water park’s grand opening in June 2010 and in May 2014, I talked about how Pirates Bay was an opportunity for the city to help change the image of Baytown and that of hundreds of people that had never been to Baytown, Texas would come visit. I was wrong, it was not hundreds of people, it’s been thousands.
