PURPOSE:This role provides technical oversight and process validation support, to ensure process capability and/or process controls at component suppliers and/or contract manufacturers to ensure that suppliers meet Company’s minimum requirements. Leads and advises suppliers on engineering and external process development projects. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by: contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; prepares and completes action plans; implements production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifies and resolves problems; completes audits; determines system improvements; implements changes.
- Meets quality assurance financial objectives by: estimating requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Develops quality assurance plans by: conducting hazard analyses; identifying critical control points and preventive measures; establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures; monitoring inventories.
- Validates quality processes by: establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
- Maintains and improves product quality by: completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints; collaborating with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs, and manufacturing and training methods.
- Prepares quality documentation and reports by: collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations.
- Updates job knowledge by: studying trends in and developments in quality management; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- This position is responsible to ensure the quality requirements for new supplier selection are acceptable, to monitor the on-going quality performance of suppliers and to drive problem investigations, corrective actions and performance improvement plans. The position will work closely with local and corporate purchasing, engineering and manufacturing
- Quality Assessment and audit of existing and proposed supplier’s capabilities.
- Qualification, probation, and disqualification of suppliers from a quality perspective (in accordance with Corporate Sourcing & Purchasing)
- Lead the investigation of quality issues using and mentor others on the use of problem solving and root cause analysis methods
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for the following:
- Coordinate and monitor international logistics of imported and exported shipments via road/ocean/air for projects located around the globe ensuring smooth and on time delivery
- Ensure overall compliance with Canada / USA / Global import / export customs documentation and also ensure that all necessary documentation for exporting/importing goods and materials (e.g. permits, transportation of dangerous goods documentation, certificates of origin, etc.) are obtained and filed accordingly
- Work with the Logistics Supervisor to streamline logistics processes and consolidate logistics’ supplier base
- Work closely with project managers and distribution team to develop schedules for projects
- Create, prepare and proofread import and export documentation for international shipments
- Coordinate and manage shipping from WhiteWater West’s local and international suppliers
- Work with freight forwarders, carriers, insurance companies and customs brokers as required
- Process/coordinate export billings, transportation charges, and special documentation fees
- Resolve invoice discrepancies
- Prepare various reports and updates as required

- A minimum of 5 years of import/export logistics experience required
- Post-secondary education in operations/logistics/purchasing/supply chain
- In-depth knowledge of Incoterms 2010, Tariff Treatments, Free Trade Agreements, international import/export laws and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiar with CTPAT and PIP
- TDG knowledge an asset

PURPOSE: The Designer, Play Structures position is responsible for: 1) the preparation of play structure engineering design submittals for client engineering review and approval and; 2) preparation of detailed shop drawings for manufacturing at in-house production facilities or at out-sourced locations around the world.
Designers, Play Structures produce high-quality engineering deliverables using SolidWorks and AutoCad 2D and 3D design tools in accordance with manufacturing and purchasing requirements and schedules. Designers, Play Structures check their own work and the work of others for accuracy, completeness and conformance to accepted design and drafting standards.
Designers, Play Structures maintain design libraries, drawings and databases as required to keep design configurations up to date and maintain historical records. Play Structure Designers adhere to design procedures and constructively participate in evolutionary process improvement projects as directed by management. Play structure designers collect and correlate project information to produce tightly integrated, high-quality, accurate and complete departmental work product in a timely manner in accordance with company priorities. - Review project documents to ensure that the entire scope of work is captured and addressed in designs and drawings
- Co-ordinate with Theme Designers, other departments and outside entities as required to ensure interfacing compatibility with all aspects of each project
- Follow approved procedures, workflows, standards and formats for the production, modification, detailing and release of engineering deliverables
- Ensure that all necessary detailing information is included in fabrication drawings
- Produce accurate and complete Bills of Materials
- Become familiar with applicable design, manufacturing and installation standards such as ASTM F2461 and F1487
- Ensure that designs are in compliance with the relevant governing standards of ASTM, EN and other international standards organizations, as applicable
- Perform quality control checks on all engineering deliverables to ensure conformity to accepted engineering practices and drafting standards (ASME Y14.100)
- Follow procedures for creating and resolving NCR/OFI (Non-Conformance/Opportunity for Improvement) reports
- Liaise with manufacturing to ensure that designs accurately reflect approved processes
- Monitor manufactured product to ensure it conforms to design as required
- Rapidly respond to manufacturing to resolve shop floor execution / design issues
- Ensure that required engineering deliverables are ready for release in accordance with agreed deadlines
- Verify that the manufacturing purchase order, project scope and engineering deliverables accurately reflect project requirements

PURPOSE:
Responsible for electrical, control system, software design and redesign of ride control systems and/or ride effects. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Control Systems Technologist will be responsible for the following:
- Programming of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) and HMI for automated systems
- Hardware and software design of control systems
- Ensure conformance to machine control safety standards ISO 13849
- Interface peripheral sensors into safety control systems
- Electrical/Electronic prototyping
- Pneumatic and electrical motion control design and troubleshooting
- Embedded microcontroller programming (Assembly and C)
- Programming of stand-alone engineering applications (Visual Basic, C and C#)
- Creation of technical documentation for custom software and electronics developed
- Preparing functional and technical specifications
- Obtain Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certification of electronic systems
- Field wiring, testing and commissioning of electro-mechanical rides (travel required)
- Mechanical and electrical system trouble shooting
- Usage of Non-Compliance Reporting (NCR) / Opportunity for Improvement (OFI) procedures
- Creation of OEM manuals for electro-mechanical rides

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Managing and overseeing multiple projects concurrently, focusing on on-time delivery, minimizing warranty claims through effective quality control, and maximizing margin through cost control and revenue enhancement.
- Managing and overseeing client relations.
- Preparing, analyzing, reviewing, approving, and managing the execution of project paperwork, including estimating, contracts, project schedules, budgets, invoices, applications for payment, change orders, cost reports, cash flow projections, purchase orders, subcontractor bid documentation, shipping documentation project close-out reports and other paperwork necessary to manage and document projects through their lifespan.
- Reviewing and managing internal engineering process and schedule to meet project specific needs.

- Reviewing, coding and approving invoices from vendors.
- Managing the timely collection of revenue from clients.
- Managing all Procurement activities.

- Coordinate and manage the interdepartmental and intra-company project team to meet project goals.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in a Construction Project environment or equivalent training.

- Post Secondary education in a related field of study; PEng Mechanical preferred
- The ability to read engineering drawings for general comprehension and take-offs is essential.
