3 Father-Son Duos from Water Park Industry on Generational Change: Live Webcast

An IAAPA panel discussion webcast presented by WhiteWater

What’s it like working with your father? Conversely, how do you entrust your child with the legacy you’ve built?

In honor of Father’s Day, sign up for a panel discussion with father and son duos from three heavyweights in the water park industry, to be held on July 15, 2021, 9:00pm EDT (UTC-4) /July 16, 2021, 9:00am CST (UTC+8).

Why now?

The water park industry is about one generation old, and many of the players are family-owned. What’s beginning to taking place now is a leadership succession process within these organizations. We will discuss what this means for the industry as a whole as these companies try to stay true to their values and purpose and at the same time, embrace change and move forward.

On the designer side, WTI’s Chuck and Nick Neuman will share their thoughts on the past 38 years and what the future holds. From a water park owner/operator’s perspective, Waterbom Bali’s Santo and Sayan Gulino will discuss what it has been like to operate the world’s greenest water park for the last 29 years and what they see upcoming.

What will they be talking about?

Topics covered will include:

  • Purpose-led organizations
  • Balancing stability and heritage with new opportunities and growth
  • Adapting to new ways of working
