Two WhiteWater Executives Named in Blooloop 50 Theme Park Influencer List
WhiteWater Chief Executive Officer, Geoff Chutter, and Chief Experience Officer, Franceen Gonzales, have been selected in the Blooloop 50 Theme Park Influencer list of 2021.
Now in its fourth year, the list “aims to recognize the individuals developing the game-changing strategies, technologies, designs, and initiatives that are driving the theme park industry forward,” according to Blooloop, the organizer and a prominent attractions industry news outlet. A panel of judges comprising experts from across the industry has saluted Geoff and Franceen as leaders who are advancing the theme park business during this unusually challenging time.
A former accountant at KPMG, Geoff founded WhiteWater 40 years ago and has since built it to become the largest and the most reputable manufacturer and designer of water parks in the world.
While WhiteWater began as a water park, Geoff quickly pivoted the business to supply water slides and has since expanded the portfolio to include water play, water rides, water park design, FlowRider surf machines, and more recently, Endless Surf surf pools and Vantage venue management software. Already early in the business, he had the vision to better work with clients by providing a full range of products and services and by being in their time zones and speaking their languages. WhiteWater has since delivered on over 5,000 projects and have offices all over the world.
Geoff’s approach means that WhiteWater has both the breadth and depth of knowledge to understand clients’ goals and challenges, which has proven to be reassuring, especially in these turbulent times.
Adding invaluable expertise is industry veteran, Franceen. As Chief Experience Officer, she brings top management experience from the operator’s side from Golfland Entertainment Centers Inc., Waterworld Safari in Arizona, Wet ’N’ Wild Waterworld in Texas, and Great Wolf Resorts.
Franceen is also a former board chair and board member of WWA (World Waterpark Association) and a current member of the IAAPA Board of Directors. Franceen’s credentials help WhiteWater as a designer and manufacturer to better collaborate with operators as well as help operators understand the role design and manufacture play in their financial success and in achieving their sustainability goals.
WhiteWater is honoured to have two leaders recognized on this influential list.
