WhiteWater named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies 2019

Vancouver, Canada, March 7th, 2019 – WhiteWater, the world’s leading water park manufacturer, is proud to announce that the company has been recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for 2019. Canada’s leading business awards program recognizes excellence in private Canadian-owned and managed companies with revenues over $15 million.

According to Deloitte—who hands out the awards—the companies may vary, but they all share one thing in common: they keep reaching for more, manage finances effectively, and adapt to changing market conditions.

Started as a small water park in the city of Penticton, BC in the early 80s, WhiteWater CEO and President, Geoff Chutter has grown the company into a global leader with almost 600 employees in offices in Vancouver, Denver, Barcelona, Dubai, and Shanghai. With over 5,000 global projects under their belt, the company is not only a full-service solution for water parks, but also now manufactures amusement attractions and a pioneering guest engagement platform for venues, called Vantage.

“We are incredibly humbled to be included in this prestigious list along with some of Canada’s best-known companies. We’ve worked relentlessly over the years to constantly better ourselves in every regard—not only as an innovative player in the water park industry, but also as an employer,” said Chutter.

“We believe that the success of every company is a reflection of the cohesiveness of all its parts, and we’re always striving to ensure that all the ‘cogs in our wheel’ are working in harmony so that we can continue to help our clients create fun, unforgettable memories for all their guests,” Chutter continued.

Chutter concluded by saying, “we are looking forward to working even harder and setting more goals for the company in the future, and we would like to thank Deloitte for honouring us with this prestigious award.”
