Guests at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium can embark on a pre-historic journey on the Dinosaur Island Boat Ride. This Water Transportation System takes guests of all ages on an enchanting scenic ride through the zoo’s Australia and the Islands area, where they will capture sightings of gibbons, orangutans, Asian small-clawed otters, and life-sized animatronic dinosaurs!

This is a unique and adventurous way to explore landscapes and wildlife at the zoo and be immersed in a faraway space and time. The theming elements are a little different every year to encourage visitors to come back to spot the changes. This water ride has an ADA-accessible boat that allows everyone to enjoy the journey.
