In 2010, Jay Peak Resort expanded its facilities, opening its new 50,000 square foot Pump House Indoor Water Park.

The Jay Peak Resort, initially recognized as an established ski resort, pivoted its business strategy to provide a broader range of experiences, becoming an all-season, all-weather resort. This water park features an all-weather retractable roof to withstand all weather conditions. As the first indoor water park in Vermont, Pump House Indoor Water Park also houses several WhiteWater attractions, such as an AquaTube water slide, an Open Flume water slide, and a FlowRider Double. La Chute, Pump House Indoor Water Park’s most notable attraction is the first AquaLoop in a U.S. indoor water park facility. As part of WhiteWater’s AquaLaunch series, guests climb a 71-foot tower to enter a launch capsule before freefalling straight down in an enclosed tube and are propelled into a 360-degree loop. This gravity-defying ride was created for the brave-hearted and can reach speeds up to 40 mph and a force of 2.5 Gs. WhiteWater also made an AquaPlay 300 for the indoor oasis, providing families extra space to spend the day with their kids utilizing the 29 interactive features of this play structure.
